What is Sitemap?
In its simplest form, a Sitemap is an XML file that lists URLs for a site along with additional metadata about each URL. Without a Sitemap the crawlers just randomly visit your pages and don´t know the importance of maybe very important pages of your website.
For example, Google search engine does not recognize your website with words and instead it communicates with the sitemap. Another major benefit of creating a nice XML sitemap is that if there are any changes that happen with your website the sitemaps offer the opportunity to inform Google and major search engines about those changes on immediate basis.
Hence, it is very important to have relevant XML sitemap created for your website or blog.
The sitemap is like a table of contents for your website and hence you should always make use of reliable tools and must follow the latest guidelines set by major search engines.
